Honeymoon Planning 3 and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Our honeymoon begins officially on Friday September 19th, 2014. Holy shit, that’s today. We leave for the airport in like 20 minutes.

It was requested that I cover some of the sites and attractions Beth and I are going to visit while in London and Paris. I do not want to give away everything, nor do I have time, but I will let you in on one thing we plan to see.

The highlight for us as big Harry Potter fans is likely to be the Warner Brothers Studio Tour at Leavesden where they filmed all eight films. Their website is http://www.wbstudiotour.co.uk/ if you would like to check it out. The pictures look fantastic. Beth and I visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida in 2012 and the attention to detail was perfect. Every nook and cranny of the park was adapted from the books and the look captured in the movies. That experience was really memorable and we are both truly excited to see where the films were created. We get to see the actual Great Hall from the films, the hallways and rooms where the actors read every line and cast every spell. On a scale of one to ten this should be a twelve for each of us.

I am nervous. I am excited. I hope everything goes well. Expect a very long post when we return.

  1. Going on a honeymoon especially during the touristy season can get really annoying sometimes, especially when you have to rush around with the other tourists, and not be able to get any quiet time with your partner. So on your honeymoon, I would suggest you to take it is a slow and relaxed pace. On my honeymoon with my husband, we want to Rome and Florence. We did all the regular sight seeing but it was getting quite tiring after a while. So one of the days we just spend the day strolling by the parks in Rome, and had a bike tour with one of the locals in Rome. She then suggested us to try out dining with BonAppetour.
